🗣️Our Voices Belong to the Members — Not Leadership

We pay dues. WE are the union. Our voices cannot be silenced.

🚫 Who’s Silencing Us?

Our fight is NOT with management. Agency leadership is not the one telling us we can’t speak.

Instead, it’s our own union leadership spreading fear and misinformation to suppress reform voices.

A union should empower its members — NOT silence them.

🗣️ Free Speech Is Still Ours

Leadership has suggested that the recent Executive Order takes away our right to talk about union matters. That is false.

Here are the facts:

OPM’s own FAQ confirms this: there is NO prohibition on members speaking freely. (https://www.opm.gov/labor-management-relations/labor-management-relations/faqs-eo-14251-exclusions-from-federal-labor-management-relations-programs.pdf)

Discussions about union issues off-duty (during lunch, breaks, or after hours) do not violate the Hatch Act. (https://osc.gov/Documents/Outreach%20and%20Training/Posters/The%20Hatch%20Act%20and%20Most%20Federal%20Employees%20Poster.pdf)

✊ Our Stand

We refuse to be silenced by our own union leadership.

  • Dues-paying members deserve a voice.

  • Reform and accountability will make Local 62 stronger.

  • Free speech is the foundation of democracy — in our country and in our union.
